Jean Sibelius
Jean Sibelius died 50 years ago today at 9 pm. He felt dizzy in the morning but had a look at the newspapers. By the evening he was dead. He is the most renowned Finnish composer and wrote wonderful music. Check out the Karalia Suite and his 2nd and 5th symphonies. If you are not moved by these you have no musical soul and have my sympathy.
